- Additional capacity per month:
- Saving per month (same quantity as today):
Assumptions: with several parts per setup, each tool is changed in only once per setup. Everything that runs unattended is prepared during the shift. Cost per part = machine time × machine rate + operator time × operator rate. The saving uses today's quantity; additional capacity is not valued. Guide values, no guarantee – not a quotation.

Machine time
With several parts per setup, each tool is changed in only once. If the machine waits while clamping, the clamping time counts towards the time per part.
Pallet changer and pallets
The next pallet is loaded while the machine runs. The machine only waits for the pallet change – unless loading takes longer than machining.
Part handling
The robot changes parts from the magazine. The operator only fills the magazine. Unattended running depends on the magazine capacity.
Unattended time
After the shift the machine keeps running until the prepared parts or pallets are finished or the unattended time is over.
Seen the numbers – what next?
Send me the drawing or STEP file, machine and quantity. I will check which clamping concept and which automation fit your part – and program it in hyperMILL.
