2. Visiting the website

When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically stores technical data in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, previously visited page (referrer) and browser and operating system. We need this data to provide the website, ensure its security and fix faults. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after [30 days – check with host].

3. Contacting us

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide, for example name, company, email address, details of machine and control and your message. We use this data solely to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and process any order.

3a. Automation calculator report

The automation calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs are only transmitted when you request the report.

For the report we process: company, name, e-mail address and country (required), optionally position, phone and comment, as well as your inputs and results in the calculator, the time of confirmation and the wording of your consent. We do not store your IP address for this; to prevent abuse we use a non-traceable check value for at most one hour.

Purpose: we send a confirmation code to the e-mail address you provide, make the report available to you and contact you about this calculation, for example to discuss your part and a possible solution. We only send technical information by e-mail if you have ticked the separate box; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Retention: unconfirmed requests are deleted automatically after 7 days, confirmed requests after 24 months unless they lead to an order (in that case the periods under section 10 apply). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@tj-solution.ch; we will then delete your details.

The data is stored on our web server with our hosting provider in Switzerland and sent to us by e-mail (see section 8). For persons in the EU / EEA the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Client and project data

We treat CAD models, drawings, NC programs and other project documents you send us confidentially. We use them only to fulfil the respective order and do not pass them on to third parties unless this is necessary for the order and agreed with you.

5. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for its operation. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. This may limit the functionality of the website.

6. Fonts and libraries

Fonts and scripts (for example for the 3D display) are hosted locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other third parties is established when you visit the website.

7. Links to social networks

We link to our LinkedIn profile with a simple link only. No plugins are loaded. Only when you click the link are you taken to LinkedIn, where LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies.

8. Recipients and processors

We only pass on personal data to the extent necessary for the purposes stated. Recipients may be:

• Hosting and email provider: [Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland – check]
• IT service providers for operating and maintaining the website
• Fiduciary or accounting services within the scope of legal obligations
• Authorities, where we are legally obliged to do so

Processors may only process the data on our behalf and according to our instructions.

9. Disclosure abroad

We generally process your data in Switzerland. Data is only disclosed abroad if this is necessary to process an order, for example for clients or partners abroad. If data is disclosed to a country without adequate data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or on a statutory exception, in particular the performance of a contract with you (Art. 16 and 17 FADP).

10. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose. We retain business documents such as quotations, contracts and invoices for the statutory period of ten years (Art. 958f CO).

11. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The website is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS.

12. Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law, you have in particular the following rights:

• Information on whether and which data we process about you (Art. 25 FADP)
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion or restriction of processing
• Objection to processing
• Release or transfer of your data (Art. 28 FADP)

To exercise these rights, a message to info@tj-solution.ch is sufficient. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern.

13. Persons in the EU / EEA

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data on the following legal bases: initiation and performance of contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests, for example in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). You have the rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in your country.

14. No automated decisions

We do not make automated individual decisions within the meaning of Art. 21 FADP and do not carry out profiling.

15. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
